When did you first start your storytelling journey?
In 2019.
What are the fondest memories from your upbringing that you feel impacted your life choices and lifestyle today?
My bond with the ocean since childhood.
Every sea creature I have encountered has fascinated me in many ways. From large cetaceans to microscopic marine invertebrates.
What path did you choose after leaving school?
I continued learning about what fascinates me: life under the ocean’s surface.
Who/what currently inspires you?
People who dedicate their lives to the conservation of the oceans, such as Enric Sala or Sylvia Earle.
What would you most like to change in the world/environment today?
The negative impacts generated by human beings. Overfishing, pollution, climate change, impacts of maritime transport, the list goes on...
We must change each of these aspects if we want to continue enjoying all the incredible gifts that nature gives us.
Are there any books/documentaries that have guided your thinking, and that you'd like to recommend to other ocean lovers?
The Nature of Nature (Enric Sala)
Mission Blue (Sylvia Earle)
Before the Flood (Leonardo DiCaprio)
An Inconvenient Truth (Al Gore)
The Silent Spring (Rachel Carson)
The Sea Among Us (Rachel Carson)
What current stories/projects are you currently working on?
I am currently looking for a job as a marine biologist. However, so far I have investigated the effects of climate change on marine organisms and want to continue to investigate how marine biodiversity will be affected by anthropogenic impacts.
What legacy do you hope to leave?
I hope to leave the world a little better than I found it.
What advice would you give to anyone looking to follow their dreams as an Ocean Storyteller?
With patience and courage, everything comes.
